I paid a deposit for a tattoo and gave designs of what I wanted but the artist has drawn something completely different. Totally different style and won’t give deposit back. What can I do?

Hello, this is of course a somewhat tricky version. Did you discuss everything with your tattoo artist beforehand and does he have the same style as the designs you brought him? If he has a different style, he will of course change the designs you brought him so that they fit his style. Normally, the tattoo artist should be able to find a solution with you.

If he has already created designs especially for you, he has already invested working time, and of course he wants to be paid for that. This could be the reason why he does not want to pay back the deposit. It is best to talk to the tattoo artist again and try to find a solution to your design wishes together with him.
