If the tattoo cartridge expires in Nov 2023, you can still use it until the end of the month. After that, it can no longer be guaranteed that the cartridge is sterile and therefore poses a risk to your customer.

Hi Jay, it's great that you are concerned about hygiene. Tattooing is a big responsibility - also for your and your client's health. With disposable grips you are on the safer side than with a standard grip. It is a good idea to sterilise the grip in an autoclave to avoid cross-contamination. The grip must be disinfected in any case before you use it on the next client. We also have some articles ....

Hello, there is no legal age to perform tattoos. However, tattooing is a form of work, so the respective legal labour regulations and the prohibition of child labour apply. If you want to have a tattoo yourself and you are a minor, you definitely need the consent of your legal guardians. We recommend that you learn tattooing from a professional tattoo artist and that you only work under the st....

Hi, it sounds like the Bishop Power WAND Packer would be the right machine for you. The packer has a stroke of 4.2mm and is a very good all-rounder. You can do line work, colour work and even shading with a little practice. If you are looking for a dedicated machine for soft shading, the

Hello, the colour Lipstick Red is a tattoo ink and not a PMU pigment. It is not meant to be placed in the lips (skin) and should only be used on "normal" skin. The pigment is much denser than PMU colour and will not process well nor will it heal and look good on the lips.

Hi, we definitely advise against putting ash in your tattoo inks. Tattoo inks are made in a sterile process to avoid any contamination. Extraneous particles that have not been produced under controlled conditions should not be introduced into the skin under any circumstances. The risk of infection is significantly increased and can lead to serious health problems.

Hi Echo, the best thing to do is to ask your tattoo artist which ink he uses and the respective ink manufacturers about the ingredients. Be sure to mention which metals you are allergic to so that you can rule out the possibility of residues in the ink. Black ink is the safest option. If you want to be sure, you should start with a very small tattoo or a short test line and wait to see if you are ....

Hi Jess, tattoos do not fade, but the skin that covers them changes over time. Tattoo ink is applied under the top layer of skin, therefore the intensity appears less after healing because there is a layer of skin over it. You can think of it as looking through a window. The thinner and more transparent the glass (i.e. the skin), the more intense the effect. If you take little care of the skin ....
