Vaseline Petroleum Jelly has a number of uses in the tattoo studio. It is used during the tattoo to keep the skin lubricated and is also part of the aftercare process. It is an essential item for any tattoo studio. This is 100% pure petroleum jelly which has been triple purified. It is gentle on the skin and it hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic which means it won’t block pores. Using Vaseline whilst tattooing keeps the skin moist which makes it easier for the skin to take the ink and reduces irritation to the client. It also helps keep any blood from forming or scabbing while working.
Petroleum Jelly is one of the most essential items in the tattoo studio. It has a range of uses and is one thing a tattoo artists should never be without. Not only is it great for use whilst tattooing but it is also a good aftercare product. During tattooing, Vaseline is used to keep the skin moist and to prevent blood clotting in area you are working in. It also means less irritation to the customer when excess ink is wiped away and the needle is one particular area of the skin for a long time. Another added benefit of using Vaseline Petroleum Jelly is that the stencil will remain clearer and brighter meaning better visibility. It also create a groove for the needle to sit in which give you steady solid lines. Once the tattoo is finished a layer of Vaseline is often spread over to heal create a seal and prevent infection getting to the site. Vaseline is an incredibly versatile product and has been triple purified for better protection of your skin. It is made from 100% petroleum jelly to give you a product that works naturally with the skin.

Standard Parcel Delivery Service

Delivery is free for all orders within the UK Mainland.

All areas classed as outside of the UK Mainland including Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are subject to individual delivery charges starting from £23.

All orders placed by 7pm Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day and will normally be delivered the next working day* within England, Wales and Scotland (excluding areas classed as rural by the courier).

Delivery to areas classed as Highlands and Islands will normally take 2 to 3 days dependent on any local area delivery company operational constraints.  

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays will not be despatched until the next working day. 

The majority of our deliveries are carried out by UPS unless your  order value is under £25 (before VAT) or under 2 kilograms. In this case your order will qualify for free of charge standard Royal Mail delivery (delivery period 2 - 3 working days). Additional delivery services are available at checkout for an additional cost.

European & Rest of World Delivery

All European shipments made by UPS and placed by 7pm (UK time) Monday to Friday will be despatched the same dayproviding there are no external factors beyond our control*. Orders received on Saturday and Sunday or Public Holidays will be despatched on the next working day.

Standard European Delivery

Standard European Delivery across the Netherlands, France, Spain, Belgium, Austria & Germany is normally 2 to 3 working days. Standard delivery to Italy is 3-5 working days.

Next Day Delivery in Denmark, Sweden, Poland and Norway

Next Day Delivery is also available in these countries in the equivalent currency amount for the order value threshold. Certain additional weight factors also apply for Poland and Norway. Please see your delivery options at the checkout for these countries.

Duty Payments

Products delivered to some destinations, mainly outside the EU, may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the product is responsible for these fees, including import duty and customs duty which are generally requested by the carrier. By placing an order you are agreeing to this as a main term and condition.

Licences

Certain countries require recipients of our goods to hold relevant licencing. This is the responsibility of the consignee to ensure they have all necessary paperwork to receive their shipment. Should the consignee not be able to provide the required paperwork to local authorities to release the order no refund will be processed.  

Special Products

There are a small number of special products that we do not hold in stock ourselves and order from the manufacturer at the point that you place your order. This is due to specific manufacturer processes. Special products that go through this process are highlighted on our site within their individual product descriptions.

Any orders containing restricted or hazardous substances are subject to additional transportation or Civil Aviation authorities’ rules and procedures which may cause a delay in despatch and delivery.

Delivery options only showing chargeable services

If your order is under £25 in value (before VAT) but exceeds 2 kilograms in packed weight your order must be sent via UPS at an additional cost due to Royal mail restrictions.

Orders delayed at despatch

Sometimes there can be additional factors which means your order needs extra checks and administration before being released. On occasion this can cause a slight delay to despatch. Any orders containing restricted items for instance need extra checking before release. 

Signature upon delivery

All parcels delivered through UPS will require a signature upon receipt of delivery.  Parcels can be delivered anytime between 8.30am and 6.00pm. Timed Deliveries and Saturday deliveries may be available at an extra cost.
