Jordan Croke of Sangreal Tattoo, Derby, UK is a second-generation tattoo artist focused on realism. Jordan grew up with a tattoo artist father and a huge interest in all thing’s art & comics so naturally the only career path for him was tattooing.

Jordan’s favourite thing about the tattoo industry is how everyone seems super warm & friendly but in reality, the industry is pretty cut-throat & competitive.

“I like that, and it suits me! I’m kidding… kinda.”

He explains that he loves that most artists are always striving to improve their work and as a community, artists want to push forward and not just clock in or go home. He finds it inspiring to be a part of.

So, what’s Jordan’s advice for up & coming artists?

"Work, work, work. Never be tempted to take shortcuts. And most importantly, stay humble. No matter how good you get, there will always be a Russian that’s better!"
