How often do you come across a tattoo posted on Instagram and think “Wow what ink have they used for that?”. . . Ok, maybe the hashtags might give the brand away. But what about actual colours? Which specific pigments do they mix to make that colour?

It happens to us almost daily, so we thought we’d do some digging and ask the artists themselves to give away their secrets.

We picked out six Barber DTS Pro Team members who absolutely swear by Eternal Ink – so much so, that they even took on an Eternal Ink sponsorship. Read on to find out what they had to say about Eternal and the colours they provide.

Questions:

What is your favourite Eternal Ink colour and why?

“I’d say favourite colour is either Southwest Blue…or Tangerine. The reason is the blue is such a mid-green blue and sits well with other combinations, but it’s also vivid and heals super nice. The Tangerine, on the other hand, is a super bright off red/orange that heals super bright, good to cut into flesh one for vibrancy!”

What’s your favourite thing about Eternal Ink as a company?

“I love Eternal because not only are they an industry leader and have been around for years, their range of colours Is vast and consistent, you can trust them to heal and hold well!”

What is your favourite Eternal Signature set?

“As for a set of colours, it’s hard to choose purely because I do a lot of styles, so it’s a toss-up between realistic colours or vibrant bright neons!”
