Studio: Old Boy Tattoo
Style: Illustrative

Spanish tattoo artist Oash owns Madrid based studio “Old Boy Tattoo”. His style is hard to pinpoint, as he has created his own personal brand of illustrative tattooing. You can see elements of neotraditional, Japanese & even renaissance style painting in his art.

Oash is inspired by Western & Eastern art equally. Western for its rich history of oil painting & techniques, and Eastern for its oriental culture and the mythology and legends that come from both.

One of the greatest teachers Oash has had is his brother Raúl.

“I wish I could see life as his eyes see it, without evil, without prejudice, with so much love, and constant improvement.”

“He has spurred me on to work hard to achieve everything I set my mind to. Throughout 12 years in the profession I have learned from many people: Coko Fernández, the brothers Julio and Álex Alcazar, Kutulo etc. And those who currently surround me: Sara, Rosacio, Yau and Padi. I think the key is to share time and knowledge with the people around us. “
