It is extremely important to take the appropriate steps to care for a tattoo as soon as it is completed. The proper "acute" or immediate care procedures help to protect the tattoo from infection and maintain the integrity of the art.
Traditional bandaging procedures often inclue the use of petroleum jelly and/or plastic wrap. These typoes of solutions can ccreate an occlusive seal, which means that the tattooed skin does not breathe. This is a dangerous situatoin as it keeps all of the body fluids pooling on the skin sutface, which can create the perefect breeding ground for bacteria. According to APT, "plastic wrap retards the healing process and creates a sort of warm, moist, airless environment that encourages bacterial growth".
Bulky, inflexible, non-transparent bandages held in place with adhesive can be difficult to keep on certain body parts (e.g. elbows, hands, backs). This increases the risk of dirt and bacteria entering the wound area and multiplies the chances of infection.
Currently, most immediate-care procedures and products result in blood and ink loss (or infection!) which will dramatically compromise the integrity of your art. This also means that your customer will be looking for costly touch-ups...at your expense.Â
SkinLock is a new, innovative solution for immediate care of a fresh tattoo. It was developed through the collaboration of a medical physician and a tattoo artist to create a truly revolutionary product that achieves harmony between creativity and medicine.
A unique hydrogel formulation meets medical standards as it helps to reduce drainage from the tattoo and promote healing. With one application of SkinLock Sealant Spray, the hydrogel solidifies to form a thin, transparent, protective coating that eliminates the need for secondary dressings. This helps to keep dirt and bacteria out and keep the area clean  to prevent infection.
SkinLock maintains a moist environment, while still allowing the skin and tattoo to breathe to enable healing. A wound that is not allowed to breathe is at risk to become a breeding ground for infection. And freshly tattooed skin that becomes too dry can result in the development of a crust which could damages the skin, the tattoo, and cause ink loss.
Since SkinLock forms a flexible coating on the skin, it is especially easy to apply on any part of the body.
Standard European Delivery
Standard European Delivery across the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Austria & Germany is normally 2 to 3 working days. Standard delivery to Italy is 3-5 working days.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery is available across all these countries for all orders and free for any order placed with a value of over €250. Any order delivered to these countries with a value of under €250 will have a standard delivery charge of €6.99. Next day delivery across these countries is available for orders under €250 and is charged at €9.99.

All orders placed by 7pm (UK time) Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day providing there are no external factors beyond our control*.Orders received on Saturday and Sunday or Public Holidays will be despatched on the next working day.
Next Day Delivery in Denmark, Sweden Norway and Poland
Next Day Delivery is also available in these countries in the equivalent currency amount for the order value threshold. Certain additional weight factors also apply for Poland and Norway. Please see your delivery options at the checkout for these countries.

Duty Payments
Products delivered to some destinations, mainly outside the EU, may be subject to taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. The recipient of the product is responsible for these fees, including import duty and customs duty which are generally requested by the carrier. By placing an order you are agreeing to this as a main term and condition.
Licences
Certain countries require recipients of our goods to hold relevant licencing. This is the responsibility of the consignee to ensure they have all necessary paperwork to receive their shipment. Should the consignee not be able to provide the required paperwork to local authorities to release the order no refund will be processed.
Special Products
There are a small number of special products that we do not hold in stock ourselves and order from the manufacturer at the point that you place your order. This is due to specific manufacturer processes. Special products that go through this process are highlighted on our site within their individual product descriptions.

Hazardous Substances
Any orders containing restricted or hazardous substances are subject to additional transportation or Civil Aviation authorities’ rules and procedures which may cause a day in despatch and delivery.
Delivery options only showing chargeable services
If your order is under £25 in value (before VAT) but exceeds 2 kilograms in packed weight your order must be sent via UPS at an additional cost due to Royal mail restrictions.
Orders delayed at despatch
Sometimes there can be additional factors which means your order needs extra checks and administration before being released. On occasion this can cause a slight delay to despatch. Any orders containing restricted items for instance need extra checking before release.
Signature upon delivery
All parcels through our main courier will need to be signed for and can be delivered anytime between 8.30am and 6.00pm. Timed Deliveries and Saturday deliveries may be available at an extra cost.
